The Environmental Protection Agency manages the National Ambient Air Quality Network.

The Air Quality Index for Health  is calculated every hour and tells you if air quality is good, fair, poor or very poor in your region. The Celbridge site was located in the grounds of St. Raphaels property, just outside the centre of Celbridge. Monitoring began in July 2010 and ceased in January 2011 for inorganic gases, while PM10 monitoring was continued till May 2011.

Monitoring was done using continuous monitors for carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and Benzene, while PM10 concentrations were assessed using a combination of TEOM and Partisol measurements. The results of the assessment are available using the links below.
