The Environmental Protection Agency manages the National Ambient Air Quality Network.

The Air Quality Index for Health  is calculated every hour and tells you if air quality is good, fair, poor or very poor in your region. The Newbridge site was located on Kildare County Council property, at the centre of Newbridge. Monitoring was conducted from October 2009 to May 2010. Monitoring was done using continuous monitors for carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, Benzene, Lead and PM10. Find out more information on what we monitor.
