Discussion Paper On Benefits Of Anaerobic Digestion

Summary: There are three major national environmental policy objectives in which anaerobic digestion could play a significant role. These relate to the Kyoto Protocol/global warming, renewable energy, and the Nitrates Directive/water pollution. This paper appraises the scope for anaerobic digestion across the country, its energy potential and cost.
