Bathing Water Quality Map of Ireland for the 2010 Bathing Season

Summary: In 2010, the monitoring of water quality at the 131 designated bathing areas was governed by the Quality of Bathing Waters Regulations, 1992 (S.I 155 of 1992) and amendments, which transposed the EU Directive 76/160/EEC concerning the quality of bathing water. This map shows the water quality status of each designated bathing area for the 2010 bathing season.
