Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems Serving Single Houses
The OEE organised two wastewater workshops to inform attendees about the new 'Code of Practice: Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems serving Single Houses' (CoP) and to assist in its implementation. The events were attended by over 180 delegates. The workshop focused on developments in wastewater policy, introduced the new code of practice (focusing on the changes, site characterisation and treatment systems) and presented a local authority case study on implementation of the CoP.

These presentations offer the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government's perspective and the experiences of both Sligo and Limerick County Councils in implementing the Code of Practice.
