EPA prosecutes Advanced Bar & Catering Services Limited

On 20 July 2009 the Environmental Protection Agency prosecuted Advanced Bar & Catering Services Limited at Dublin Metropolitan District Court.  The Company pleaded guilty to:

1. Placing electrical and electronic equipment on the market at a time when the company was not registered as a producer of such equipment.

2. Failing to apply to the registration body for registration or renewal of registration as a producer.

3. Failing to declare to the registration body the quantities, by weight or number of units, of electrical and electronic equipment placed on the market.

Fines totalling €3,500 were imposed in relation to the seven charges and costs of €4,500 were awarded to the EPA.
