EPA prosecutes College Proteins

On 28 April 2017 the Environmental Protection Agency prosecuted College Proteins at Navan District Court, Co Meath

 The company pleaded guilty to:

  • Failing to comply with condition 5.24, in that the company failed to ensure that the operations on site were carried out in a manner such that odours did not result in significant impairment of and/or significant interference with amenities of the environment beyond the site boundary from the 4th of July 2015 to the 11th of November 2015.

Judge Dunne heard the case and convicted the company and imposed a fine of €1000.

The Agency costs were also awarded.
