Professor Chris Field, Co-Chair, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will present the next lecture in the EPA's climate change lecture series.

Professor Chris Field, Co-Chair, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group II, will present a lecture which will provide an overview of projected impacts of climate change, key vulnerabilities and reasons for concern. It will also outline how a risk management approach can assist in managing current and future climate impacts.
Professor Field is Co-chair of Working Group II of the IPCC 5th Assessment Report and is the founding director of the Carnegie Institution's Department of Global Ecology. He is also a Professor of Biology and Environmental Earth System Science at Stanford University. Professor Field has testified before the US House of Representatives and Senate committees and has appeared in various media outlets. He was one of ten recipients of the 15th Annual Heinz Award with special focus on the environment.
