Fire at Panda Waste Services facility in Beauparc, Co. Meath

The EPA was notified this morning of a fire at Panda Waste Services facility in Beauparc, Co. Meath.  The Fire Service is in attendance at the site since the early hours of this morning and will remain on site until the fire is completely extinguished.  The fire broke out on the Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) production line involving a quantity of baled RDF.

 

The EPA is also in attendance and is liaising with the Fire Services.  Firewater is being retained and dealt with on site and the EPA is continuing to monitor the situation.

 

Nurendale Ltd t/a Panda Waste Service Ltd hold a Waste Licence Registration No. W0140-03 for the operation of a waste transfer station and recycling facility at their facility in Beauparc, Navan, Co. Meath.
