EPA Information re ash cloud from volcanic eruption in Iceland

The EPA is aware of the ash cloud from the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland.
The EPA monitors air quality in Ireland at a network of locations throughout the country.
Monitoring of this information today has not shown any increase in pollution as a result of the ash cloud.
The results of this monitoring are fed back to the EPA website in real-time – hence the information is immediately available to the public.
