FP7-Environment Working Group

The EPA has set up a Working Group for the FP7-Environment including Climate Change theme.

The working group is composed of one member of each University, a representative of the Institutes of Technologies and representatives from SMEs. The main objectives of the working group are to:

  • Engage dialogue with main stakeholders (academic researchers, SMEs and Industries),
  • Encourage information sharing / feedback,
  • Gain insight of Irish Participation under FP7-ENV calls but also other relevant FP7 calls (e.g. Marie Curie, Infrastructure, etc.),
  • Identify priority research from a National perspective that the Irish research community would be in a strong position to compete for,
  • Ensure better representation of Irish priorities at EU-level,
  • Foster collaborative linkages between Irish organisations,
  • Encourage a national platform for Environmental Research,
  • Discuss national support offered.
