Operators of facilities involved in activities that are subject to the PRTR Regulations but are not subject to licensing by the EPA will find specific information and guidance to assist in reporting under PRTR.
The annual reporting of environmental information by EPA licensed facility operators falls into three Tasks. These are:
As of 01 January 2009, each of these steps is mandatory for all EPA-Licensed facilities.
The reporting obligation will not be satisfied until all three steps are completed and the EPA has confirmed that it has accepted the information.
The information cannot be accepted in any other manner or format other than that specified in the guidance documentation provided on this website.
The EPA has developed a dedicated website for the submission of your AER / PRTR Emissions Data. This site is at http\\aer.epa.ie/reporting.
The AER / PRTR Reporting website also has pages which facilitate the submission of your full PDF AER.
This site is only accessable by means of the facility specific Username and Password. These are supplied by the EPA by letter and by email to all relevant facilities and should be retained carefully.
