The above index is for overall Air Quality in Zone A and not just at this station. The index is calculated based on the latest available measurements of ozone, nitrogen dioxide, PM10 and sulphur dioxide in Zone A.
The air quality monitors are located in the public library in Ballyfermot. The site is operated by Dublin City Council.
Construction work is ongoing at the site from October 2010 into 2012 and the monitoring has ceased for the duration of these works.
