The above index is for overall Air Quality in Zone A and not just at this station. The index is calculated based on the latest available measurements of ozone, nitrogen dioxide, PM10 and sulphur dioxide in Zone A.
The metals deposition sampler is located on the grounds of UCD, Dublin 14. Metal concentrations determined are lead, nickel, arsenic and cadmium.
Sampling at the Rosemount site commenced in January 2009. with the Assessment Thresholds in the Air Quality Regulations to determine the long term monitoring necessary.
