The above index is for overall Air Quality in Zone D and not just at this station. The index is calculated based on the latest available measurements of ozone, nitrogen dioxide, PM10 and sulphur dioxide in Zone D.
Monitoring was done by a mobile unit containing continuous monitors for sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide and PM10. Metals in air were also measured.
