The following are sites on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) groundwater quality monitoring network that have had a Zone of Contribution delineated. They are presented by county and the links below access site information and maps for the majority of the sites1. The shape file for these sites1 will be made available for download shortly. Details of the current EPA Groundwater Monitoring Network are also available. A link to full Source Protection Reports on the Geological Survey of Ireland (GSI) website is also below for some sites.
There are also site folders and maps available for a number of groundwater abstractions for drinking water that are not on the EPA Groundwater Monitoring Network.
1 A project is currently underway that will update some site folders and maps based on full Source Protection Reports. These will be made available once completed. Site folders for some privately owned abstractions are not presented. The site folders and maps have been created using available information. If any errors are noted or additional information is available please contact gwmon@epa.ie.
* A site folder has been prepared, however the site is no longer sampled due to changes in abstraction regime.
