Air Quality Monitoring in Ringsend, Dublin 4

The Environmental Protection Agency manages the national ambient air quality monitoring network.

The Ringsend ambient air monitoring site is located close to a residential area near Sean Moore Road.

Monitoring is done continuously for oxides of nitrogen (NOx), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5). The latest monitoring results can be viewed by clicking on the links below.

Historical air monitoring information

Monitoring was conducted in Ringsend from February 2009 to February 2012. Monitoring was done using continuous monitors for carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, PM10 and benzene. An assessment report is available to download.
