This spreadsheet contains results from the EPA's two high-volume air monitoring stations within the National Radiation Monitoring Network (NRMN). This monitoring programme helps the EPA track radioactivity in the air, verify that levels remain normal, and provide early warning of any unusual radioactive contamination in the environment. This spreadsheet contains the results of EPA testing on rainwater samples collected each month from monitoring stations in Dublin. The samples are checked for small amounts of radioactive substances, including: Caesium-137 (Cs-137) Caesium-134 (Cs-134) Iodine-131 (I-131) Beryllium-7 (Be-7), which is a naturally occurring radioactive substance found in the atmosphere.
