Project Abstract

GlasPort Bio has created peroxide-based additives to reduce methane emissions in ruminant animals caused by digestion. While these additives have shown promise, more research is needed to understand how they work in different situations. The proposal suggests using special systems to mimic the rumen biochemistry from animals and study how the additives work with different types of grass. Additionally, evaluated the effect of increasing the application of additives on the performance of various animals. Our goal is to improve how we use these additives to help animals stay healthy meanwhile reducing methane emissions.
