Project Abstract

The main drivers for this project are two fold. Firstly, economically the delivery of this project will sustain employment in Waterford due to the site being able to reduce operational energy cost, increase its production capability and reduce delivery time thus enhancing its competitiveness within the worldwide market. Secondly, upon completion this project will deliver environmental benefits through a reduction in green house gas emission lowering the plants carbon footprint as well as reducing the generation of hazardous wastes that are currently being transported to Germany as a recyclable material.
