Project Abstract
The system will provide a common sustainability benchmark for residential development which can be used by procurers, financial investors, planners, policy makers, construction professionals, contractors and home buyers. This will help improve the overall environmental, health and economic valueof new houses, while driving innovation right through the entire value chain of construction.The system will provide a means to incorporate new research on best practice into indicators and weightings, allowing us to communicate best practice in each area of sustainability in an easy way.
