Project Abstract
This proposed EPA study will strive to develop a demonstrator insulation panel from Mixed Plastics Waste, which will have potential for use in the construction industry. The properties of the insulation panel developed will be tested against those currently on the market. The goal is to showcase that it is cost effective and technically feasibility to develop such products from Irish Mixed Plastics Waste. The results of the research will be widely promoted in the hope that it will encourage and give other recyclers, reprocessors and manufacturers the confidence to develop innovation new product offering from Mixed Plastics Waste.
