Project Abstract

Constructed Wetland (CW) has been widely used as a popular alternative for the treatment of various wastewaters due to its viability low operating cost and 'green' image. However challenges for CW technology to treat high strength wastewaters have arisen due to the rapid growth of population and industrial activities in recent years. The proposed study aims to develop a novel and innovative CW system to enhance organic matter and nutrients removal when high strength wastewater is treated.
