Project Abstract

The economic return from this project will stem from reduced energy & associated costs and revenue from a new product. The environmental benefit will arise from reduced energy efficiency. This project will have direct relevance for companies involved in tyre shredding, wishing to up-cycle their products as it make the production of crumb rubber more viable by demonstrating new viable revenue streams. The project would also be of relevance to any industry, particularly green industries using non-virgin material, that has the possibility to up-cycle one of its by-products or wastes. The project will be promote through traditional and multimedia routes.
