Project Abstract
Green teams can contribute to increased resource efficiency in organisations, and improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprints, and reduce waste and water use. Reduced operational costs can be achieved through greater efficiencies in resource-use. This can help improve profitability and productivity. The scheme will also contribute to skills development. The scheme will be applicable to all types of businesses and public sector organisations where green teams may be established. The results will be promoted through a website, printed material, third party events, public relations activity, a dedicated online networking forum, third party online networks, industry links and general networking.
