Project Abstract
MARplas considers the full aspect of the fishing net re-use process; collection, cleaning, segregation, reprocessing and new products to enables an assessment of potential opportunities e.g health and safety, bio-medical, sensing and ergonomic product designs not yet fully explored. This will contribute to the development of new disruptive p2p business models for re-use processes for the creation of added value products as there are currently no established Irish inclusive circular co-design approaches to plastic fishing waste and no business models that reflect this approach to support micro � large scale opportunities involving p2p systemic collaborative practices / educational progression .
