Project Abstract

This project is going to ensure that at least 3000 tonnes of surplus food are redistributed effectively and efficiently. This will have obvious benefits for both charities and donors alike but unlike the current system this food will be choice driven and the benefits, in terms of the 3 sustainability pillars, will be quantified. In addition, through an advance logistics investigation into distribution from the pilot hub, a distribution plan for the whole country can be put in place. The results of this work will be promoted through social and conventional media.
