Project Abstract
The proposed project will enhance waste prevention at local level and in many locations by diverting waste from landfill. It will also encourage communities, households and individuals to think creatively and practically about how they can reuse materials and about how items can be repaired helping household to save money. A case study report and a handbook will be produced which will help other organisations and communities reproduce the reuse workshops. The results of the project will be promoted through social and traditional media, conferences and meetings and reports to the EPA.
