Summary: The successful candidate will fulfil the role of Scientific Officer II (level 4) Hydrometric & Groundwater (field officer). The successful candidate will be part of the hydrometric field monitoring team, measuring river flows, lake and groundwater levels in their hydrometric region. They will work with, and may be required to manage, colleagues within their wider regional team or nationally to ensure delivery of the hydrometric field work programme.
