Air Quality Monitoring in Bray

The air quality index for Bray, Co. Wicklow  is calculated on an hourly basis under the Large Towns AQIH Region. The Air Quality Map  shows you if air quality is good, fair, poor or very poor in your region.

The Bray site is located in grounds of Bray Town Council yard on Wurzburg road. Monitoring is done using continuous monitors for ozone and Particulate Matter (PM2.5). The most recent results can be viewed using the links below.

Historical air monitoring information

Air monitoring was previously carried out in Bray between October 2005 and May 2006. This site was located in the Health Services Executive yard on Killarney Road.

Monitoring was done by a mobile unit containing continuous monitors for sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, Particulate Matter (PM10) and benzene.  Metals in air were measured by pumping air through filters which were changed at regular intervals. Results for this assessment can be veiwed through the link below
