Project Abstract
The RE-CUGI project aims to quantify and demonstrate the energy and carbon emissions reductions and benefits attributable to compact urban growth. The project will look at different development typologies, their integration into urban development, in 3 different urban areas of different scale. Through the development of practical and implementable tools and guidance documents the project aims to demonstrate the challenges and opportunities of making the transition to compact urban growth in Ireland.
