Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to join the EPA’s Climate Adaptation and Behavioural Insights Team in the position of Scientific Officer I (Level 3) Climate Adaptation Scientist. The successful candidate will provide expertise, analysis and insight on climate change risk, adaptation and resilience in Ireland. The person will have a management role and be a valued member of a multidisciplinary team of technical experts in the areas of climate change impacts, risk and adaptation, and resilience planning and monitoring. A panel will be created from this competition, from which future Scientific Officer I (Level 3) Climate Adaptation Scientist vacancies in the EPA or the Secretariat to the Climate Change Advisory Council (CCAC) may be filled, in the EPA Regional Inspectorate in Dublin or Cork or EPA Headquarters in Wexford.
