This Position Paper sets out the current position of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on the regulation and management of waste wood. The objective of the document is to achieve a common understanding among regulators, the waste industry and end users of what constitutes waste wood, the factors that influence its determination, how it is regulated and the appropriate end uses.
