Project Abstract
The bluebox project aims to harness the power of distributed computing to advance the use of data analytics in ocean observation applications. By developing a dedicated offshore InternetofThings platform, data analytics can be applied to reduce costs and enhance the value of data collected by long endurance ocean observation systems. BlueBox is specifically targeted at those ocean observation systems that incorporate on-board renewable energy power generation.
