Project Abstract

The project is expected to identify key social, economic and environmental benefits of waste reuse in a national context leading to improved environmental performance within the reuse sector. Sustainability indicators will be identified, validated and tested which have immediate potential for application in SMEs and the waste sector. A sustainability framework will be developed which will provide a national template for sustainability reporting building capacity and demonstrating innovation in a europoean context. Widespread dissemination of project findings and the resulting framework will lead to increased resource efficiency and uptake of reuse activities for sustainability impact.
