Project Abstract
As an Industry association, IWFMN is committed to assisting its members achieve Sustainability and Circularity. We have chosen the Upholstery Segment as that segment which is likely to be able to adapt to a Circular Economy successfully in the shortest time. Society generally is already accepting of re – purposing upholstery.
We plan to then apply the lessons learned to the greater woodworking industry and in so doing have on hand examples of ‘success’ and exemplars to lead the way forward to a waste free circular society. The companies chosen to work with have depth and experience and are well respected amongst their peers.
