Project Abstract
This technology will enable the recycling of farm plastics within Ireland and will avoid the current practice of exporting this plastic resource to other countries at a negative cost. This disruptive technology will replace the current market leaders (concrete and virgin plastic drinkers) that emit high levels of CO2 in their manufacture with a lower CO2 emitting recycled plastic drinker. The technology is relevant to all plastic recycling companies in Ireland. The results will be disseminated using the recycled plastic drinker demonstrator by presenting at trade shows/ conferences and maintaining up to date website and social media platforms.
