Project Abstract

The �Research to Policy Impact through effective Knowledge Transfer� project will explore and look to maximise the impact potential from selected EPA-funded projects. It will also provide a best-practice protocol for achieving impact for ongoing and future EPA-funded projects The project outputs will include a set of recommendations based on the combined findings of each Work Package. In particular, it will answer the EPA�s request for guidance on improved systems and methodologies for knowledge generation, capture and transfer. It will include a review of communication proposal requirements in the Irish funding system, including limitations and barriers as well as a proposal on how to further capitalise on Knowledge Transfer with future strategic actions. Furthermore, the project will deliver Knowledge Transfer case studies, and impact, for a number of EPA-funded research projects.
