Project Abstract
This technology will allow the recycling of plastic packaging that is currently sent to landfill/incineration or exported to developing countries. This will capture the economic value of the plastic that is currently lost to the economy and also contribute towards an increase in recycling rates to meet the European targets. The technology is relevant to all plastic recycling companies in Ireland and companies placing plastic packaging on the market. The results will be disseminated and promoted using the recycled plastic pallet demonstrator by presenting at trade shows and conferences and maintaining up to date website and social media platforms.
