5G measurements
As part of our monitoring role, we have carried out measurements of public exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF), including 5G frequencies, in everyday environments such as cities and town centres. These measurements showed that the levels of 5G in Ireland and very low and comparable to the levels in other countries. Other agencies are also performing 5G measurements. A report of 5G measurements carried out by OfCom in the UK can be found at this link. The French agency ANFR has also recently performed 5G measurements in France which can be consulted .
