EPA Prosecutes C.G. Power Systems Ireland Limited

Hearing Date: September 12, 2019

On the 12th September 2019, the Environmental Protection Agency prosecuted C.G. Power Systems Ireland Limited, Annagelliff, Dublin Road, Cavan, County Cavan at Cavan District Court.


C.G. Power Systems Ireland Limited pleaded guilty to breaching Condition 6.1 of its Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Licence (P0106-02) by:
 

  • failing to carry out analyses and measurements in accordance with Schedule C: Control & Monitoring of the said Licence, on the 13th September 2018.

 

Judge Denis McLoughlin convicted C.G. Power Systems Ireland Limited and imposed a fine of €1,000. Costs were also awarded.
