What is the EPA Summer Student Programme? 

The EPA offers summer placements to Third-Level students from second year and above who wish to develop their knowledge and skills. It is a 12-week onsite programme that takes place from the beginning of June to the end of August.  

Summer Student Placement Dates 2026 

To be confirmed. 12 weeks over June, July and August

Who can apply?  

Third-level students who are available to undertake an onsite summer placement at an EPA office in Ireland (Wexford, Mayo, Cork, Dublin, Kilkenny, Monaghan).  

What can you expect from the Summer Student Programme?  

The programme offers students a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and develop a range of new skills during the summer months.  

Is it a paid placement? 

Yes, summer student programme candidates are paid by the EPA.

To register your interest, please email recruitment@epa.ie with your CV, advising of your preferred EPA office location (Wexford, Mayo, Cork, Dublin, Kilkenny, Monaghan)
