EPA prosecutes Waste Recovery Services (Fermoy) Limited

On 27 February 2009 the Environmental Protection Agency prosecuted Waste Recovery Services (Fermoy) Limited at Fermoy District Court.  The Company pleaded guilty to accepting a tonnage of waste that exceeded the maximum annual tonnage permitted.

On hearing details of the offences, Judge Patwell imposed a fine of €2,000 and awarded EPA costs of €7,961.55.
