EPA prosecutes Greenstar Holdings Limited

On 9 June 2010 the Environmental Protection Agency prosecuted Greenstar Holdings Limited at Navan District Court.  The Company pleaded guilty to: failing to ensure that the activities on the site were carried out in a manner such that emissions did not result in significant impairment of or significant interference with the environment beyond the facility boundary.
 
On hearing details of the offences, Judge Fitzpatrick imposed a fine of €500 and awarded EPA costs of €13,747.50.
